Ukraine says it struck Russian refinery and Saky airfield
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the General Staff said Ukrainian units struck the Novokuibyshevsk oil refinery and a logistics hub in Russia's Samara Oblast overnight, causing a fire at the plant that produces motor and aviation fuel and diesel and has about 8.8 million tonnes annual capacity. The General Staff also confirmed the destruction of a Su-24M and four pieces of airfield equipment at Saky airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea, and said a Niobium radar and 18 drone storage buildings were hit near Primorsko-Akhtarsk; Zelenskyy added that drone-control repeaters were destroyed in Bryansk Oblast.
