Ukraine strikes export terminal and oil facilities in Russia

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed on X that Ukrainian long-range forces struck an export terminal in Russia's Rostov Oblast and oil facilities in the Yaroslavl region and the Udmurt Republic on the night of 26–27 July. He said the Rostov target was about 250 kilometres from the front line and strikes reached as far as 1,300 kilometres from Ukraine's border. Residents in Rostov reported explosions, fires and an incident at the commercial seaport. Zelenskyy framed the operation as part of long-range sanctions to reduce Russia's capacity to finance the war, which could affect energy and transport nodes.
