Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GazetAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Description of Service

GazetAI is an AI-powered news curation service that delivers the top 3 most important stories per category, updated continuously in real-time. The Service is delivered through our website at gazetai.com, where subscriptions are purchased and managed; mobile applications for iOS and Android (with push notifications) are currently in development.

Subscription Terms

Free Access

• 7 days of full access, free, with no credit card required for new users
• Access to 3 categories of your choice during those 7 days
• After 7 days, your account moves to our permanent free tier: unlimited article summaries plus 3 full analyses per day, at no cost
• You may choose to subscribe to a paid plan at any time, from day one or after your free access ends — your payment method is only charged if and when you do

Premium Subscription

Premium access is a paid subscription, billed either monthly or annually — you choose the billing period at checkout. You also choose how many news categories to include; your total price depends on that number and on the billing period you select.

• Minimum: 3 categories for $5 USD per month, or $47.99 USD per year
• Additional categories: each category beyond the first three adds $0.50 USD per month, or $4.80 USD per year
• Subscriptions are purchased on our website at gazetai.com, where checkout is handled by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period — every month on a monthly plan, every year on an annual plan — at the then-current price for your selected categories, until you cancel. You may cancel at any time, and access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. All prices are shown and charged in US dollars (USD) regardless of your location, and applicable taxes may be added at checkout.

• Ad-free experience
• Priority customer support

Payment Processing

• Subscriptions for GazetAI are sold only on our website at gazetai.com. Our mobile apps, when available, do not sell subscriptions or process payments in-app.
• Website checkout: subscription payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe handles payment details as described in its privacy policy. Stripe's terms apply to that payment flow.
• Prices are in US dollars (USD); the total charged may vary by region because of applicable taxes.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the Service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated systems to access the Service excessively
• Redistribute content from the Service without permission
• Interfere with the Service's operation or other users' experience

Content and Intellectual Property

News Content

GazetAI aggregates and curates news from third-party sources. We do not claim ownership of the underlying news content. Our AI analysis, summaries, and curation represent our intellectual property.

Service Content

The GazetAI app, algorithms, user interface, and related technology are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Availability

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, the Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

Content Accuracy

Our AI curates news from multiple sources, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of all information. Users should verify important information independently.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GazetAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, arising from your use of the Service.

Account Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. Upon termination:

• Your access to the Service will cease immediately
• Subscription benefits end at the current period's expiration
• Account data may be deleted after 30 days
• Surviving provisions include payment obligations and intellectual property rights

Platform-Specific Terms

iOS App Store

These Terms are between you and GazetAI only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or any warranty claims. In case of non-conformance, Apple’s only obligation is to refund the purchase price.

Google Play Store

These Terms are between you and GazetAI only, not Google. Google is not responsible for the Service, content, or any warranty or liability claims.

Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA and UK consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of entering into it, without giving any reason and without penalty.

• The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day your subscription contract is concluded
• You do not need to give a reason, and no cancellation fee applies
• If you withdraw in time, we refund all payments received from you without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision
• We issue the refund using the same payment method you used, at no cost to you

Starting your subscription immediately

Your subscription gives you access to the paid service straight away, before the 14-day withdrawal period has ended. At checkout you are asked to expressly request that we begin providing the service immediately and to confirm that you understand you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided. If you do not give that confirmation, we begin the service only after the withdrawal period ends. Where you have given it and we have begun, you may still withdraw during the 14 days, and we will refund you an amount reduced in proportion to the service already supplied.

How to withdraw

To withdraw, send us a clear statement of that decision — for example by email to legal@gazetai.com — before the 14-day period expires. You may use the model withdrawal form, but you are not obliged to. Sending your notice before the period expires is enough to meet the deadline. This right is separate from cancelling a subscription, which you can do at any time from your account page.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country in which you habitually reside, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer resident in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom to submit to binding arbitration or to waive the right to bring a claim before their local courts.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated through the app or email 30 days before taking effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
