Oracle expands ai into clinical workflows
Oracle is expanding artificial intelligence deeper into healthcare workflows by adding automated coding, chart review and clinician-controlled dictation to its Clinical AI Agent, the company said. Oracle Health, built largely around its $28.3 billion acquisition of Cerner, sells EHR and clinical software to hospitals, while Oracle's broader business reported a record $67.4 billion in fiscal 2026 revenue and cloud revenue jumped 39% to $34 billion. The new tools analyze visit conversations to suggest professional-fee codes, assemble relevant EHR history and transcribe speech in real time, and the company says note generation already saved clinicians over 400,000 hours; adoption and accuracy will determine commercial impact.
