Alamar launches national proteomics initiative for Alzheimer's biomarkers
1 min read

Alamar Biosciences announced a partnership with leading research universities to launch a national-scale proteomics initiative using its NULISAseq Neuro 220 panel to speed biomarker discovery and validation for Alzheimer’s disease and related neurodegenerative conditions. The project is co-led by professors Sarah Biber, Sterling Johnson, and Tatiana Foroud and will generate plasma proteomic data from about 21,000 samples collected from 10,000 ADRC participants across the United States. Samples are stored at NCRAD, creating a centralized infrastructure for coordinated access and large-scale biomarker generation.
Project will profile plasma proteomics from about 21,000 stored samples.
