KHDA launches FutuReady framework to guide student careers
Dubai's Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) published the FutuReady Framework and handbooks establishing nine standards to strengthen academic and career guidance across private schools and higher education. The standards cover structured guidance programmes, future skills, professional capacity, experiential learning, labour market insights, family engagement, digital and AI-enabled guidance, and inclusive student-centred support including students of determination. Private schools have three years to implement or further develop provision, and KHDA will run workshops for education leaders. KHDA also signed a collaboration with the National Career Development Association to support research and professional development for implementation.
