Former SGF donates library as NERD passes 400,000 submissions
Former SGF Dr. Boss Mustapha donated the Wesley Mustapha Library Complex to Lutheran University Nigeria, Demsa, in a ceremony that honoured his late father and aimed to improve student access to knowledge. Separately, the Nigeria Education Repository and Databank (NERD) has recorded more than 400,000 visible academic submissions and allocated over 115,000 National Credential Numbers, with 907 institutions enrolled and 629 active. Together these developments expand physical and digital education infrastructure, enhance research discoverability and credential authentication, and highlight challenges from uneven institutional participation and a dominance of undergraduate submissions.
