Apple opens education hub for supplier workers in Vietnam
Apple is expanding training and skills development for supplier employees in Vietnam by opening a new Apple Education Hub in Hanoi in partnership with Hanoi University of Science and Technology and by extending its curriculum at more than 30 supplier sites. Courses start this fall and cover technical topics such as smart manufacturing, robotics, automation, and Swift coding, plus leadership and line-leader training. The effort is part of Apple’s $50 million Supplier Employee Development Fund, which since 2022 has supported over 9 million training sessions and expanded vocational programs including for people with disabilities.
