Dubai's education regulator, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), has resumed quality assurance visits and changed its inspection model to target schools based on data and areas for measurable improvement. There will be two inspection types: QA1, which can affect a school's overall rating, and QA2, which focuses on specific areas and does not change overall ratings. Any future private school fee increases will be determined by a school's most recent inspection result, even if that result is up to two years old; the Education Cost Index, normally calculated in April, will help set the potential fee scope.
