Mirae Asset plans $109 billion digital asset business
Mirae Asset Financial Group announced a plan to grow a 150 trillion won digital asset business through Digital X, covering cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, tokenized real-world assets and security tokens. The group aims for Digital X to be profitable by 2027 while leveraging about 1,500 trillion won in client assets, but faces challenges around liquidity, custody, pricing and regulatory adoption.
