Ukraine strikes Wildberries logistics centers across Russia
Over recent weeks Ukrainian drones have struck at least 23 of Wildberries' 30 logistics complexes across Russia, severely damaging about 20 facilities and killing nine employees. The largest struck site in Elektrostal covered 230,000 square meters, and by Aug. 5 eleven facilities totaling about 1.4 million square meters had been permanently closed, with others badly damaged. The strikes have caused long delivery delays, widespread order cancellations, lost inventories for small sellers and sharp price increases, and they risk exposing banks that lent heavily to Wildberries and prompting possible government intervention.
