Iran commander urges Muslim states to reconsider US ties

Major General Ali Abdollahi, head of Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, said Muslim countries should be farsighted and reconsider partnership with the United States, which he accused of pursuing rapid escalation and unlawful dominance in the region. He claimed the United States showed during the recent war against Iran that it would attack Muslim nations' interests and that it uses regional capital, wealth, vital infrastructure and strategic resources as a defensive shield while strengthening the military and security of the Zionist regime. Abdollahi warned that countries serving as a defensive shield for the United States could suffer the costs of war imposed on regional governments.
