Houthis attack Saudi oil facilities, wound more than 70
More than 70 people were wounded after Houthi attacks ignited fires at several oil facilities and utilities in southern Saudi Arabia, Saudi authorities said, temporarily halting operations at the sites. Maj. Gen. Turki al-Malki, a spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition, said the strikes hit civilian and economic facilities in Abha's Jazan, Najran and Khamis Mushait and called the incidents a serious escalation that violated Saudi sovereignty. The coalition vowed retaliation, while Houthi media praised the operation and said a statement on a large-scale military operation inside Saudi Arabia would follow, deepening the renewed conflict after a four-year truce broke.
