Stoke raises $1 billion to develop Nova Block 2
Stoke Space announced a $1 billion Series E raise, bringing its total funding to $2.3 billion, to accelerate development of its fully reusable Nova Pathfinder and the larger Nova Block 2. Pathfinder uses seven Stoke-designed Zenith full-flow staged-combustion engines and an actively cooled metal heat shield on a 12-chamber upper stage, and had a 10-meter hopper test in 2023; Block 2 scales to 14 Zeniths, a 5-meter fairing and aims to deliver up to 15 tons to low Earth orbit with a first launch target of 2029. Funding will also support large test site and Cape Canaveral infrastructure expansions and offshore recovery work.
