SpaceX Falcon 9 launches 29 Starlink satellites
2 min read

A Falcon 9 launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base carried 29 Starlink broadband satellites and returned first stage booster B1071 to a planned touchdown on the droneship Of Course I Still Love You, marking the booster’s 35th flight. The upper stage will deploy the satellites about 62 minutes after liftoff. The flight falls one mission short of a recent SpaceX reuse record of 36 flights for booster B1067 and came during the 81st Falcon 9 mission of 2026, when roughly 80% of launches this year have been Starlink missions.
Booster B1071 completed its 35th flight and landed successfully.
