Netflix releases Matthew Perry documentary on October 27
Netflix will premiere a three-part documentary about Matthew Perry on October 27, and the streamer released a two-minute trailer ahead of the launch. The trailer includes interviews with Perry's sister Mia Perry Bowick, friends David Pressman and Roger Castillo, and several former girlfriends, plus previously unreleased family photos and videos. The series examines Perry's acting career, including his Friends audition and the creation of Chandler Bing with recollections from Warren Littlefield and Jeff Strauss, and it also addresses his struggles with addiction and later efforts at sobriety. The intimate series is directed by Emmy winner Mary Robertson.
