George Lucas opens narrative art museum in Los Angeles
The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art opened Tuesday in Los Angeles after a 17-year effort by creator George Lucas and co-founder Mellody Hobson. The $1 billion institution in Exposition Park near USC houses mostly the founders' own holdings and intentionally mixes populist painters, commercial illustrators, comic artists and fine art.
