Oslo has introduced a citywide ban on smart glasses in all schools and at all education levels, citing concerns about filming, hidden recording, privacy and data collection. The restriction applies throughout the school day and took effect on August 27. Vice mayor Julie Remen Midtgarden said devices make it hard to know when people are being recorded and warned against children becoming part of data collection.
