IBCC grants science equivalence to foreign board students
At the 184th IBCC Forum in Murree, Pakistan's Inter Board Coordination Commission approved several measures to modernise and standardise secondary qualifications. Foreign board students who have passed at least two science subjects will be eligible for science-group equivalence, 12 additional Deeni Madaris were added bringing recognised institutions to 26, and B-Form/CNIC numbers will appear on SSC and HSSC certificates to ease verification. The forum also approved scholarships and overseas exposure for board toppers, uniform calendars and practical exam guidelines, and pushed for nationwide implementation of a revised grading policy and wider e-marking adoption to increase transparency and credibility.
