Hyundai and KOICA launch NextGen project in Ghana
Hyundai Motor Company, KOICA and Plan International launched the Hyundai KOICA NextGen Project in Accra on September 3 to strengthen automotive technical training in Ghana from 2026 to 2030. The project will update curricula and train technicians in electric vehicles, hybrid systems and digital diagnostics, directly benefiting 405 people and indirectly reaching about 20,000 TVET students and their families. Partners include the Ministry of Education, Ghana TVET Service, CTVET, Accra Technical Institute and Ho Technical University, and the programme targets women and out-of-school youth to broaden participation in a changing sector.
