Ukraine strikes Moscow oil refinery and logistics facility
On 20 September Ukraine launched a massive long-range drone operation that struck the Moscow oil refinery in Kapotnya and a logistics facility, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said. Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed damage to an object at the refinery, and OSINT group ASTRA identified the facility. Zelenskyy listed multiple systems used and framed the strikes as aimed at infrastructure that funds Russia's war. Russian officials said two people were killed and six injured across Moscow oblast, and Governor Andrei Vorobyov reported that air defenses intercepted or suppressed 249 drones between 3 and 5 a.m.
