BDx breaks ground on 640 MW AI data centre campus in Indonesia
Singapore-based BDx Data Centers has begun building a 640-megawatt AI-focused data centre campus called CGK4 near the Jatiluhur Dam in West Java, Indonesia. The site has secured 845 megavolt-amperes of grid capacity from state utility PLN and will be developed over about three years, with the first 120-MW building scheduled to enter service from early 2027. The initial building will use direct-to-chip liquid cooling for racks up to 500 kilowatts and the campus is Nvidia DGX-Ready certified; BDx is also pursuing a hydroelectric power arrangement and has a US$320 million loan facility to support expansion.
