Women's Asia Cup likely to be held in UAE

The sixth edition of the Women's T20 Asia Cup is likely to be played in the United Arab Emirates from August 28 to September 13, with eight teams listed including India, Pakistan and defending champions Sri Lanka. The Asian Cricket Council has told participating countries to mark the dates but has not issued a final schedule or venue pending approval from its leadership headed by Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Mohsin Naqvi. An ACC email on July 22 indicated teams should arrive August 27 and that the final is September 13. India briefly published then deleted its squad announcement, and the Asia Cup finalists will have only four days before the 2026 Asian Games in Japan.
