Cricket West Indies has reduced international retainer fees by 25% while shifting domestic contracts to seven-month terms and suspending this year's men's Super50 and women's T20 Blaze because of unsustainable operational and travel costs. The board highlighted that it has spent over US$80 million on domestic airline travel in 15 years and has an ICC loan facility of US$16 million available in three tranches with access conditions.
