BCCI sends team to Dubai to discuss 2027-31 FTP
The Board of Control for Cricket in India will send its operations team to a Future Tours Programme workshop in Dubai on 22 and 23 September to discuss the international calendar for 2027–31. BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia said the board wants wider gaps between internationals to allow proper rest and acclimatisation, especially before major series in SENA countries, after several players including Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Washington Sundar and B. Sai Sudharsan missed tours with injuries. The move could prompt calendar changes, a revival of multilateral matches, and fitness-dependent selections for upcoming series.
