Conor McGregor's return to the octagon ended after 1:09 of the first round at UFC 329 when a flying left roundhouse kick landed awkwardly on his right knee and left him unable to continue. The scheduled five-round welterweight main event was stopped and recorded as an injury exit, cutting short his first fight in more than five years.
