49ers expect Bosa and Kittle to play against Rams
The San Francisco 49ers traveled to Australia ahead of a Week 1 game against the Los Angeles Rams with two major injury questions: defensive end Nick Bosa, recovering from a right ACL tear, and tight end George Kittle, recovering from a right Achilles tear. Defensive coordinator Raheem Morris stated plainly that Bosa will play, and offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak said Kittle looks like himself in practice though final workload will be decided after the week. Kittle was activated from the physically unable to perform list Aug. 24 and both players have taken on-team reps in recent practices.
