Tronchon wins stage 10 of Vuelta a España
Bastien Tronchon sprinted to his first WorldTour victory on stage 10 of the Vuelta a España after a chaotic final few kilometres, outsprinting Magnus Cort and Thibau Nys on a hot, hilly 184.7km route from Alcaraz to Elche de la Sierra. Visma-Lease a Bike controlled much of the day for Wout van Aert and Matthew Brennan but van Aert could only finish fourth. A late break included Fredrik Dversnes and Yevgeniy Federov, with Dversnes holding on until about 3km to go. General classification was unchanged as Enric Mas kept the red jersey, preserving the overall race order.
