Shenzhou XXIII astronauts complete spacewalk maintenance
The Shenzhou XXIII crew completed their first extravehicular activity, a 5.5-hour spacewalk in which Zhu Yangzhu and Zhang Zhiyuan performed maintenance on Tiangong's solar array wings and installed space debris protection equipment with support from the station robotic arm and ground personnel. Zhu made his second spacewalk three years after his first while Zhang conducted his first. The activity, which ended with both astronauts returning to the Tianhe core module at 1:59 pm, was described by the China Manned Space Agency as protecting the station's power supply and allowing the crew to continue scientific and operational work in orbit.
