China to finish Mars geological map by 2028
China aims to complete a latest-generation geological map of Mars by the end of 2028, using Tianwen-1 orbital data, Zhurong rover findings and supplemental data from US and ESA probes to build a linked global database of imagery, spectral, radar, gravity and magnetic readings.
