Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic said he will resign on September 25 or 26 and then campaign as an ordinary citizen for prime minister in snap parliamentary elections on October 25. He signed a decree dissolving parliament to ease prolonged political tensions and to give voters a clear choice on Serbia's direction, and he urged a peaceful 45-day campaign.
