EHealth Africa vaccinates 23 million children in Nigeria
EHealth Africa reported that vaccination campaigns between January and June 2026 reached more than 23 million children across over 205,000 settlements in Nigeria while expanding digital tools, supply-chain interventions and renewable energy in health facilities. The mid-year report details PlanFeld deployment across 253 local government areas supporting 33,837 vaccination teams, Vaccine Direct Delivery to 407 health facilities with about 3.41 million vaccine antigens delivered, and solarisation of 238 primary health centres generating 277,800kWh and saving an estimated N166m in fuel costs in the period. The organisation also supported laboratories in 13 countries and emergency coordination through 11 centres.
