The United Kingdom's Competition and Markets Authority has cleared the proposed $110 billion merger between Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery after a Phase 1 review that examined film and TV distribution, children’s channels and streaming services. The CMA said evidence shows Paramount will face sufficient competition across production and distribution, children's channels and streaming.
