Eastern Florida State College wins approval for four Workforce Pell programs
Eastern Florida State College is the first college in Florida approved for four Workforce Pell Grant programs, part of Florida's designation as the sixth state approved under the federal initiative. The U.S. Department of Education cleared Pell Grant use for short-term EFSC programs that prepare students for careers as correctional officers, emergency medical technicians and firefighters, among other public safety roles.
