HIVE signs $350 million GPU cloud deal for AI cluster
HIVE digital technologies disclosed a five-year, $350 million GPU cloud services contract for BUZZ high performance computing that should produce about $70 million of annual revenue and bring BUZZ HPC to roughly $180 million in annualized revenue mix. The deployment will host 2,016 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs in NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 racks with InfiniBand networking and VAST storage at a Canadian facility, using renewable hydroelectric power and closed-loop cooling. Capital expenditures total $185 million with a $35 million upfront deposit; execution and financing of that build are the main near-term risks to converting contracted revenue.
