B.C. man denied bail in multinational U.S. drug extradition probe

One of three B.C. men arrested earlier in July was denied bail as part of extradition preparations after a multinational investigation led by the RCMP and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The three are named in a separate indictment that alleges Ravinder Singh Dhanda led a drug distribution network smuggling bulk quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine to trafficking organizations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, and that a person from the Canada Border Services Agency provided information to assist smuggling; two co-accused have upcoming bail hearings and all face possible extradition to the United States.

One suspect was denied bail amid U.S. extradition proceedings.
