China seeks feedback on reciprocal tariff cuts with US

China's commerce ministry said it is widely soliciting views from domestic companies, business associations, local governments and U.S. business associations on proposed reciprocal tariff reduction arrangements with the United States covering about $30 billion of trade. The two sides have been in close communication about the tariff reduction framework and the structure and operating model of a newly agreed Board of Trade. Agricultural products were flagged as part of the framework, and officials said Beijing and Washington aim to agree specific arrangements soon to advance implementation and further expand bilateral trade.
