Airbus launched the maiden flight of its windowless A350F freighter in a four-hour test that begins nine months of certification trials ahead of a planned 2027 entry into service. The aircraft is Airbus’s effort to break Boeing’s long-standing freighter dominance, and Airbus has sold 115 A350Fs compared with Boeing’s 81 777-8Fs.
