Moscow reports 6,225 drone attacks in July

Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin said 6,225 unmanned aerial vehicles flew toward the Moscow region between July 1 and July 31. He added that Russia's air defence forces destroyed 780 drones approaching the capital in July. Separately, the Russian ministry of defence said its forces neutralized at least 21,760 drones over the same month. Those differing tallies underscore a high tempo of reported UAV activity and extensive interception operations, which has immediate implications for air defence workload, resource allocation and operational priorities amid the ongoing security situation.
