Houthi drone damages Taibah electricity station
A Houthi drone attack damaged the Taibah electricity distribution station in Madinah on Sept. 29, knocking one power transformer out of service while the wider electricity network remained unaffected, Saudi-led coalition officials said. The coalition said an operational review and drone wreckage examination confirmed Houthi involvement, a claim the Houthis denied. Taibah supplies power to the Prophet's Mosque, which drew condemnation from the GCC, several Gulf states, Arab bodies and Islamic organisations.
