Businessman sentenced for causing injury by dangerous driving

Scott Baines, a 50-year-old Sunderland businessman, pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving after he reversed his Land Rover Discovery and knocked over a former employee during a long-running dispute. The victim suffered a complex cut to the top of his head requiring ten stitches, plus abrasions and bruising.
