AMD says server business enters growth phase
At the Technology Leadership Forum 2026 AMD said its server and data center businesses are entering a new growth phase driven by rising AI inference and agentic workloads. The company reported more than 50% server growth in Q1 2024 and over 70% in Q2 2024, and it expects more than 80% growth in the second half of 2024 plus at least 70% server revenue growth in 2027. AMD has 6 gigawatts of Helios commitments from OpenAI, Meta and Anthropic, plans Helios mass production in September 2024, and named supply chain capacity at TSMC and packaging as the main near-term constraint.
