KT Tunstall to headline Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games opening ceremony

KT Tunstall will headline the opening ceremony of the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow at the Hydro on 23 July, returning from a world tour to perform. The bill also features Nathan Evans & Saint PHNX, Callum Beattie, Nina Nesbitt and Skye electronic-trad band Valtos, who collaborated with musicians from across the Commonwealth to soundtrack the Parade of Nations. The ceremony will involve 600 volunteer cast members and is intended to officially kick off the 10-day sporting celebration welcoming 74 countries and territories, spotlighting Scottish music and city culture to international visitors and teams.
