Auburn athletics has struck a multi-million-dollar partnership with Peach Bowl, Inc. and the Aflac Kickoff Game to generate name, image and likeness revenue for student-athletes ahead of the Tigers' season opener against Baylor on Sept. 5. Under the deal, Peach Bowl will work with marketing partners to arrange promotional appearances for up to two dozen Auburn players, including social media posts, public appearances, advertisements, in-game promotions, media interviews and branding opportunities. Activations begin this month and run through game day. Organizers say the model could boost the appeal and financial value of neutral-site games.
Up to two dozen Auburn athletes will receive NIL revenue.
