India-EU FTA to boost Indian exports to Denmark
Denmark's ambassador to India, Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen, said the India-European Union free trade agreement is expected to boost Indian exports to Denmark and draw greater Danish investment into India. He said companies from both sides could invest in India to serve domestic demand and to manufacture goods for re-export to Europe, calling the pact a win-win for both continents. The envoy also noted that growing cross-border business will require stronger intellectual property awareness, and that Danish and Indian governments are cooperating to raise IP awareness among small and medium-sized firms. He made the remarks at the PAFI 13th Annual Forum 2026.
