Netflix cancels Ransom Canyon after two seasons
Netflix confirmed on September 10 that it will not pick up Ransom Canyon for a third season, ending the series after two seasons. Season 2, released in July, had a reduced episode order and several cast departures and drew 4.1 million first-week views, a 43 percent decline from the 7.2 million premiere-week views in 2025. The first season spent four weeks on Netflix's weekly Top 10, while season 2 was there for three weeks. Showrunner April Blair had outlined season 3 ideas, including new faces and more musical elements, but those plans will not proceed on Netflix.
