Jacob Tremblay plays teen Unabomber in Netflix drama

USA TODAY released first images and details of Unabomber, a Netflix drama that stars Jacob Tremblay as a 16-year-old Ted Kaczynski and cross-cuts that period with the mid-1990s FBI hunt. The film depicts Kaczynski as a Harvard prodigy recruited into abusive psychology experiments by professor Henry Murray, an arc director Janus Metz links to early CIA-funded work that preceded MK-Ultra. The later timeline follows FBI agents, including a fictional Joanne Miller, using the Unabomber manifesto to track the bomber who killed three people and injured more than 20 between 1978 and 1995.

Netflix will stream Unabomber beginning Sept. 25.
