Giovanni Veronesi's Dio Ride to close Venice film festival
Giovanni Veronesi's film Dio Ride will close the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, which runs Sept. 2-12, screening in the out-of-competition section. The historical drama, set in the mid-1600s and loosely based on true events, stars Pierfrancesco Favino and an ensemble cast and examines freedom, truth and the relation between people and power.
