Catherine Ringer, 68, co-founder and singer of Les Rita Mitsouko, died on the night of 14 September 2026 after a sudden, aggressive cancer, her children told Agence France-Presse. Born in Suresnes in 1957, she met Fred Chichin in 1979 and together they created a distinct musical blend and hits such as "Marcia Baïla", "Andy", "C'est comme ça" and "Les Histoires d'A."
