Bradley Cooper to star as Duke in new G.I. Joe film
Paramount has cast Bradley Cooper as Duke in a reimagined G.I. Joe movie directed by Danny McBride, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jeff Fradley and John Carcieri. McBride says the film will be suspense and action rather than a comedy, will follow Duke and the Joes, and will feature Springfield as a major plot element; detailed plot points are not yet public. The project is a fresh start distinct from the previously discussed G.I. Joe/Transformers crossover, and it is produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian and Zev Foreman for Hasbro Entertainment.
Paramount has cast Bradley Cooper as Duke for a franchise reboot.
